Shopify builds for Singapore brands selling across the region.

Binevi designs and builds Shopify stores for Singapore brands and retailers that sell at home and into neighbouring markets: one store with several markets, the payment methods your customers use, and the systems behind them. Our team works with yours from Canada, with calls in your mornings.

Systems connected to Shopify

  • Marketsprices per country
  • Paymentscards and local methods
  • Fulfilmentcross-border delivery
one store · several markets
  • ERPorders, stock, invoices
  • TaxGST, InvoiceNow
  • Analyticsper market
  • Marketingemail and loyalty
For a Singapore brand selling across the region, the critical systems sit between markets: prices per country, payments people use there, and deliveries that cross borders.

What a regional store from Singapore needs

Selling from Singapore into neighbouring markets is an architecture decision before it is a design one. These are the questions to settle first.

  • Region

    One store for several markets

Shopify Markets lets one store sell into several countries with their own prices, currencies and domains, where your payment set-up supports them. Shopify Managed Markets, where Shopify acts as merchant of record, is open only to merchants based in the US, Canada or the UK, so duties, returns and delivery promises for each market are designed with your logistics partner. One store or several is settled in discovery, because it is expensive to change later.

  • Payments

    PayNow alongside cards

Shopify Payments is available to stores based in Singapore, with cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shop Pay, but it does not offer PayNow. PayNow comes through a third-party provider with a Shopify app, such as HitPay. We compare the options with you before the build and design the checkout around the methods your customers use.

  • Tax

    GST at 9% and InvoiceNow

Singapore has charged GST at 9% since January 2024. IRAS is bringing GST-registered businesses onto InvoiceNow, the national e-invoicing network, in phases: new voluntary registrants since April 2026, then existing registrants by size from April 2028 to April 2031. If you invoice other businesses, the store has to hand complete order data to your accounting system or InvoiceNow provider.

  • Data

    Customer data under the PDPA

Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 governs how customer data is collected and used. We list every app and service that receives customer data and set consent and privacy notices with your legal adviser before launch.

  • Time

    Calls in your mornings

Toronto evenings are Singapore mornings, so standing calls sit at the start of your working day, and progress is shared in writing so nothing waits for the next call.

Work that travels

Our case studies are from Canadian clients. They show the parts of a regional store we build most often: a structure for several audiences, a brand-led storefront and integrations that stay correct.

Little Magpie storefront rebuild

A full rebuild of a Canadian stationery distributor’s store: a new identity, collections by category and brand, a complete wholesale journey, and three languages.

One store serving several audiences in three languages: the same structural problem as one store serving several markets.

Your morning, our evening

Our team works from Markham, Ontario, twelve to thirteen hours behind Singapore. Calls sit in Toronto evenings, which are your mornings, and designs, builds and decisions are shared in writing between them.

  1. Discovery

We review your store, systems, data and goals, and agree in writing what the project must achieve before anything is designed.

  2. Architecture

Store structure, markets, integrations and data flows are mapped and signed off, so design and development build on decisions rather than assumptions.

  3. Design

The templates that carry your revenue are designed in Figma for desktop and mobile, and approved before development begins.

  4. Build

Theme, apps and integrations are developed on a staging copy of your store, which you review as the work progresses.

  5. Launch

Data migration, redirects and quality checks come before a monitored go-live, planned around your trading calendar.

  6. Evolve

After launch, the same team continues on an ongoing plan: improvements, new features and support.

The working-day overlap

  • Toronto · Eastern Time

    20:00–22:00

    Our call window, all year

  • Singapore · UTC+8

    08:00–10:00

09:00–11:00 in winter · 12–13 hours ahead of Toronto

Singapore and Toronto both work Monday to Friday. A Toronto evening is already the next morning in Singapore, so standing calls run Monday to Thursday in Toronto, Tuesday to Friday for you.

Is Binevi the right fit?

We would rather tell you now than halfway through a project. This is where we are, and are not, the right partner.

A good fit if

  • You sell in Singapore and into other Asia-Pacific markets, and one store has to handle them properly.
  • Your store has to connect to an ERP, a warehouse or a marketplace catalogue, and that is where the risk is.
  • You want one partner for the build and the work that continues after it.

Probably not the best fit if

  • You need a team in the same time zone, available through your working day. Our calls sit in your mornings.
  • You want a template store launched quickly with no integration work.
