Shopify stores for Philippine brands building their own channel.

Binevi designs and builds Shopify stores for Philippine brands and retailers that want a store of their own beside the marketplaces: e-wallets and cards at checkout, storefronts that stay fast on the phones your customers use, and catalogues kept in step with your other channels. Our team works with yours from Canada, with calls in your mornings.

Systems connected to Shopify

  • Paymentse-wallets and cards
  • Mobilespeed on real phones
  • Cataloguemarketplace sync

  • Inventorystock across channels
  • Deliverycouriers, 3PL

For a Philippine brand building its own store, the critical pieces are how people pay, how fast the store is on their phones, and one catalogue that stays in step with every channel.

What a Philippine store has to get right

A store of your own competes with the marketplaces on convenience first. These are the decisions that decide whether it does.

  • Payments

    E-wallets and cards at checkout

Shopify Payments is not available to stores based in the Philippines, so e-wallets and cards come through a third-party provider with a Shopify app: HitPay covers GCash, Maya and cards, Xendit covers GCash and cards, and Maya has its own plugin. Shopify also charges its third-party transaction fee on these providers, so we compare the options, and what they cost, with you before the build.

  • Mobile

Fast on the phones people use

We measure speed on real visits and mid-range phones rather than a single lab score, and trace slow pages to the images, scripts and apps behind them, so the store stays quick where your customers actually shop.

  • Channels

    One catalogue beside the marketplaces

If you also sell on marketplaces, stock and product data have to stay consistent across every channel. We connect Shopify to your inventory system or channel tools so one catalogue feeds them all, instead of three to update by hand.

  • Tax

VAT at 12% and e-invoices by the end of 2026

The Philippines charges VAT at 12%. Under current BIR rules, e-commerce sellers classed as small, medium or large must be issuing electronic invoices by 31 December 2026; micro sellers are exempt. We set up VAT-inclusive prices and pass complete order data to the system that issues your invoices.

  • Data

Customer data under the Data Privacy Act

The Data Privacy Act of 2012 governs how customer data is collected and used. We list every app and service that receives customer data and set consent and privacy notices with your legal adviser before launch.

What we build for Philippine brands

A store of your own that is quick, convenient to pay in and connected to the rest of your business.

Work that shows the method

Our case studies are from Canadian clients. They show the parts of a brand's own store we build most: a custom storefront, a structure that scales and integrations that keep data right.

Soralady

The full Shopify development cycle for a K-beauty brand: a custom theme, guided shopping tools and a loyalty experience.

Calls at the start of your day

Our team works from Markham, Ontario, twelve to thirteen hours behind Manila. Calls sit in Toronto evenings, which are your mornings, and everything between calls is shared in writing.

  1. Discovery

We review your store, systems, data and goals, and agree in writing what the project must achieve before anything is designed.

  2. Architecture

Store structure, markets, integrations and data flows are mapped and signed off, so design and development build on decisions rather than assumptions.

  3. Design

The templates that carry your revenue are designed in Figma for desktop and mobile, and approved before development begins.

  4. Build

Theme, apps and integrations are developed on a staging copy of your store, which you review as the work progresses.

  5. Launch

Data migration, redirects and quality checks come before a monitored go-live, planned around your trading calendar.

  6. Evolve

After launch, the same team continues on an ongoing plan: improvements, new features and support.

The working-day overlap

  • Toronto · Eastern Time

    20:00–22:00

    Our call window, all year

  • Manila · UTC+8

    08:00–10:00

09:00–11:00 in winter · 12–13 hours ahead of Toronto

Manila and Toronto both work Monday to Friday. A Toronto evening is already the next morning in Manila, so standing calls run Monday to Thursday in Toronto, Tuesday to Friday for you.

Is Binevi the right fit?

We would rather tell you now than halfway through a project. This is where we are, and are not, the right partner.

A good fit if

  • You sell on marketplaces today and want a store of your own that stays in step with them.
  • Your customers pay with e-wallets and expect the checkout to make that easy.
  • You want one partner for the build and the improvements after it.

Probably not the best fit if

  • You need a team in Manila, available through your working day. Our calls sit in your mornings.
  • You want the lowest-cost launch, with no integration or performance work.

Questions buyers ask

Can a Shopify store accept GCash and Maya?

Yes, through a third-party provider with a Shopify app: HitPay covers GCash, Maya and cards, Xendit covers GCash and cards, and Maya has its own plugin. Shopify Payments is not available to stores based in the Philippines.

Can Shopify stay in step with our marketplace listings?

Yes, through channel or inventory tools that connect Shopify to the marketplaces you sell on. We choose the connection with you and test that stock and prices stay consistent before launch.

When can we meet?

Calls are held in Toronto evenings, which are Manila mornings: Monday to Thursday in Toronto, Tuesday to Friday for you. Work is shared in writing between calls.

Do you have a team in the Philippines?

No. Binevi is based in Markham, Ontario, Canada, and works with Philippine businesses remotely, with calls in your mornings.
