Meet the teamLaunching is the short part. These are the decisions that decide whether a Qatari store still works well years later.
After launch
Shopify retires older features on its own schedule: the 2026–27 deadlines alone change checkout customisations and tracking scripts. Apps update, integrations drift and new markets arrive. A retained plan with agreed monthly hours keeps the store current, rather than waiting for something to break.
Payments
NAPS is Qatar's national debit card network. Shopify Payments is not available to Qatar-based stores, so NAPS and card payments come through a third-party provider with a Shopify app. The provider shapes checkout, refunds and settlement, so it is chosen alongside the rest of the architecture.
Tax
Qatar does not levy VAT today. We set up tax and price display so that selling into a VAT market such as Saudi Arabia or the UAE, or any future change at home, is handled in settings and a tested theme update rather than a rebuild.
Support
Toronto mornings are Doha afternoons, so issues raised during your working day reach us the same day, and planned releases are scheduled for hours that suit your trading.
Data protection
Qatar's Personal Data Privacy Protection Law, Law No. 13 of 2016, governs how customer data is collected and used. We map which apps and services receive customer data, and set consent and privacy notices with your legal adviser.
