Privacy policy

What we collect

• When you contact us through our contact form, by email or by phone: your name, email address and anything you choose to tell us, such as your company, website, project details, budget, timeline or phone number.
• When you request a quote through one of our Facebook or Instagram ads (a Meta lead form): your name and email address, your phone number if you provide it, and your answers to our questions, for example how many properties you rent and where they are listed. Meta may prefill these from your profile, and you can edit them before you send the form.
• When you book a call: the details you enter in our booking tool (Zoho Bookings), such as your name, email address and preferred time.
• When you browse binevi.ca: Google Analytics, through Google Tag Manager, uses cookies to record how the site is used, such as the pages you visit, your approximate location and your device and browser. We do not send your name, email address or messages to analytics. Our forms use Google reCAPTCHA to block spam, which processes information about your device and your use of that page.

How we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote or proposal.
• To deliver and support the work you ask us to do.
• To send you occasional emails about your project or our services, only if you agreed to receive them. Every email lets you opt out.
• To understand and improve how our website and ads perform.

We do not sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

• Service providers that help us run our business, and only for that purpose: our website host, our email and booking providers (including Zoho), Google (Analytics and reCAPTCHA) and Meta (lead ads).
• Authorities, when the law requires it.

Some of these providers store information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be accessible to authorities under local law.

How long we keep it

Enquiries and quotes that do not become projects are kept for up to 24 months and then deleted. Client records are kept for as long as we need them to deliver the work and to meet our legal and tax obligations.

Your choices and rights

• You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw your consent to marketing emails, by writing to hello@binevi.ca. We reply within 30 days.
• You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on.
• If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca.

How we protect it

We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), restricted access and reputable service providers. No method of storing or sending information is completely secure, but we work to protect yours.

Changes to this policy

We update this page when our practices change, and revise the date at the top when we do.
